Jubilo Iwata U19

Júbilo Iwata plays in the J League, the highest division of football in Japan. To develop their players, they travelled all the way from Japan to the Netherlands.

During their 8-day training camp, the Japanese played several friendly matches. They also enjoyed training sessions, a day in Amsterdam, match tickets and an international tournament.

Football Tour of The Netherlands

The men’s U19 team of Júbilo Iwata played fixtures against Feyenoord Rotterdam and ADO Den Haag. These clubs, both active on the highest level of football in the Netherlands, are both known for their quality youth academies.

The Japanese also participated in a tournament held at Dutch second division club FC Dordrecht.

During the tournament fixtures they met opposition from the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States. Besides a day in the capital of Amsterdam, Júbilo Iwata also enjoyed some football sightseeing.

Visiting professional matches between the national teams of the Netherlands and England and second division clubs FC Dordrecht and Go Ahead Eagles were definite highlights of the trip.
