New York Soccer Club U14

New York Soccer Club is a US Soccer Development Academy, affiliated with MLS club New York City FC. To develop their players, they took two of their U14 boys teams on a football tour to England.

The teams took advantage of the relatively short travel distances within the country to combine three of England’s major football cities: London, Manchester and Liverpool.

During their stay they played multiple friendly matches, had a lot of training sessions and even watched an official match of the English Premier League, one of the most famous football divisions in the world.

Football Tour England – London & Manchester

The youth teams from the USA played fixtures against English academies Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool FC. These high level matches were combined with a training session at the official youth academy of Manchester City, to give the US players a glimpse in the life of academy players at this famous EPL club.

The boys also had plenty of time for sightseeing, to not only experience the football culture of England but also see some of its major city centers. Stadium tours at Liverpool FC (Anfield Stadium), West Ham United (Olympic Stadium), Chelsea FC (Stamford Bridge) and Manchester United (Old Trafford) completed the trip.
