Willem II U14

Willem II is a Dutch football club, whose first team is active on the highest level. Their U14’s were looking to develop themselves with a trip abroad and chose the Spanish city of Valencia as their destination. Their initial goal was to play fixtures against two youth academies in Spain.

However, they ended up expanding their itinerary with some nice sightseeing activities and a visit to a Primera División match.

Football Tour Spain – Valencia

Willem II’s U14 team played friendly matches against Valencia CF and Levante UD. Both clubs play in La Liga, so high level matches were guaranteed. Besides matching their strengths against Spanish opposition, the Dutch players enjoyed seeing the facilities of these high level youth academies.

Being Dutch, naturally the team also had to take a bike tour through the city of Valencia. They also swapped one of their regular training sessions for some time on the beach. Another highlight of the football tour to Valencia was visiting a pro match at Villareal.
