Russia has a lot of football clubs that we all know. For example Zenit Saint Petersburg, who have won the Russian Premier League several times. Zenit is the club of goalie Aleksandr Kokorin, Joerie Zjirkov and former player Andrej Arsjavin.
The first division, called ‘Premjer Liga’, consists of 16 clubs. Because of the way the Russian league system is set up, a newly created team can enter the system and reach the Premier League in three years. Other well-known clubs are CSKA Moscow, that brought up former national team captain Igor Akinfejev, and FK Krasnodar. Russia was the host country of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Why not visit the biggest country in the world on your next training camp? Let us welcome you in Saint Petersburg, Moscow or Krasnodar. In Moscow, you’ll surely want to visit the Red Square and see the impressive Saint Basil’s Cathedral. In Saint Petersburg, you’ll be just as amazed by the architecture of the city as by the stadium of Zenit. The high speed train will even allow you to combine these two cities in one trip. With friendly matches, training sessions by Russian coaches and tickets to a Premjer Liga match, player development is guaranteed!
Whether you book a football tour, training camp, pre-season trip or a tournament trip: all our tours are tailor-made, to suit the needs of you and your youth players.
