In late October, Switzerland U17 travelled to Dubai for a week of preparation ahead of their upcoming tournament. The camp offered the perfect balance between focused training, tactical work and team-building moments. Allowing the players and staff to fine-tune their form before competition.

After arriving late on Sunday night, the team settled into the Holiday Inn Dubai Science Park. The opening days featured tactical meetings, training sessions at Dubai Sports City, gym work and recovery sessions. The schedule was designed to keep intensity high while ensuring proper rest and treatment.

Midweek, the players took part in a friendly match against Morocco U17 at the Al Hamriya Sports Complex, a competitive test that provided valuable experiences. The team showed strong commitment and learned important lessons for the games ahead at the World Cup.

Between the demanding sessions, there was also time to explore Dubai. A visit to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa offered a change of pace and the pre-camp concluded with a memorable evening in the desert featuring a desert safari tour and a traditional BBQ.

The week in Dubai was both productive and enjoyable, with Switzerland U17 heading to Qatar well-prepared and united for the next stage of their journey.
