Tour Overview

In October 2025, Canada U17 held their pre-camp in Dubai ahead of the FIFA U17 World Cup. This trip was organized by Orange Veins.

Canada U17 arrived in Dubai in late October for a week-long preparation camp ahead of their World Cup fixtures. The group stayed at Millennium Place Mirdif, where players and staff enjoyed excellent facilities for both recovery and training.

After several arrivals spread across the first days, the full squad came together on Friday. The team quickly settled into their routine, starting with evening training sessions at the UAE Football Association’s complex. Across the week, the focus was on maintaining a balance between tactical preparation, fitness work and recovery.

Training sessions were held regularly, supported by gym workouts and treatment blocks. On Monday, Canada U17 played their first friendly match against the UAE U17 side. A valuable opportunity to test match rhythm and tactical structure in local conditions.

Later in the week, the team faced Germany U17 at The Sevens Stadium in a highly competitive international match. Following the game, the squad returned to the hotel for recovery and reflection.

In between, players followed a well-planned daily schedule with balanced meals, ice baths and time to rest between sessions. The week concluded with a final training session on Friday before departure the following morning from Sharjah International Airport.

The Dubai camp proved to be a productive and focused period for Canada U17, combining high-quality training, international competition, and team development ahead of the challenges to come at the FIFA World Cup.
