The KNVB partnered with Orange Veins to organize the Netherlands U17 national team’s UEFA qualification campaign in Turkey, delivering what both parties described as a professionally executed and high-quality international trip.
The Dutch U17 side travelled to Antalya, Turkey, for decisive UEFA League B qualification matches against Kosovo and Belarus. The fixtures were part of the qualification route for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and were hosted at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya.
Ahead of the tournament, the KNVB announced the official squad selection for the campaign, underlining the importance of the international window for the development of the next generation of Dutch talent.
The young Dutch side opened the campaign with a 1-0 victory over Kosovo, secured through a stoppage-time winner. The team then followed up with another important win against Belarus, sealing promotion back to League A and successfully completing the qualification mission.
Behind the scenes, Orange Veins played a central role in coordinating the logistical and operational aspects of the trip, including accommodation, transportation, training facilities, and match-day organization. The collaboration with the KNVB ensured that players and staff could fully focus on performance during a demanding international schedule.
The successful cooperation highlighted the growing importance of specialized sports event partners in international football operations. By combining the KNVB’s football expertise with Orange Veins’ experience in organizing elite sports travel and events, the trip to Turkey became both a sporting and organizational success.
For the Netherlands U17 squad, the campaign marked an important milestone, not only because of the promotion to League A, but also due to the professional environment created around the team throughout the tournament.
