Tour Overview
In April and May 2026, Suburban FC GU15 embarked on an exciting football tour across England, Belgium and the Netherlands. Organised by Orange Veins, the tour provided the players with the opportunity to compete against top professional academies, experience different football cultures and create unforgettable memories both on and off the pitch.

The team arrived in London on Friday 24 April before beginning an action-packed programme of football and sightseeing. After settling in, the group prepared for the first fixture of the tour.
On Saturday, Suburban FC travelled to the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, where they faced Brighton & Hove Albion in their opening match. Competing against a professional academy provided an excellent challenge and a valuable learning experience for the players. Following the match, the team travelled to Bracknell and checked into the Village Hotel.
Sunday offered a unique opportunity to experience Premier League football firsthand. The group visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester United before enjoying some free time and shopping in London.
The football programme continued on Monday with sightseeing in central London, allowing the players to explore some of the city’s most famous landmarks. Later that evening, the team travelled to Winchester for a fixture against Southampton FC, where they once again tested themselves against strong academy opposition.
Tuesday featured another memorable day. After a relaxed morning, the group visited Stamford Bridge for a behind-the-scenes tour of Chelsea FC’s iconic stadium. In the evening, the players travelled to Crystal Palace Academy and competed against Crystal Palace FC in another high-level fixture.
On Wednesday, the tour moved beyond England as the team travelled by Eurostar to Belgium. After arriving in Bruges and checking into their hotel, the players had time to recover ahead of the next stage of the tour.
Thursday combined cultural experiences with competitive football. The squad spent time exploring Brussels city centre before travelling to the Jan Breydel Stadium complex for a match against Club YLA. The fixture provided another excellent opportunity for the players to continue their development against quality opposition.
The tour then moved to the Netherlands on Friday. After departing Belgium, the team travelled to Rotterdam for a professional training session at Sportcomplex Toepad. Later that day, the group visited the Johan Cruyff Arena, home of Ajax, where they enjoyed a stadium tour and gained an insight into one of Europe’s most renowned football clubs.
The final match of the tour took place on Saturday at De Toekomst, the world-famous Ajax academy training complex. Suburban FC faced AFC Ajax in a fitting finale to an incredible week of football. Following the match, the players spent time exploring Amsterdam before returning to the hotel for their final evening together.
