Tour Overview
US Club Soccer ID2 Girls U15 travelled to London for a week focused on football, development and experiencing the English football environment. With a combination of training sessions, friendly matches against professional clubs and activities around the city, the group had a varied programme both on and off the pitch.




The team arrived at Heathrow Airport on Saturday 15 August in the afternoon before travelling to the hotel. After settling in, the players took part in their first training session of the tour. The day was rounded off with a team meeting, giving the group the opportunity to discuss the week ahead and prepare for the programme.
Sunday continued with another training session. Afterwards, the players had some free time to relax and recover before the football programme continued the following day.
On Monday, the team had the chance to put their training into practice in a friendly match against Chelsea FC. Facing professional opposition provided a valuable challenge and gave the players the opportunity to apply what they had been working on during the first days of the tour.
Tuesday started with a training session at the Tottenham Hotspur FC Training Ground. Following lunch, the group visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a stadium tour. Exploring the home of the Premier League club offered an interesting insight into the club and provided a different way to experience English football.
The following day, the team returned to the Tottenham Hotspur training ground, this time to face Tottenham Hotspur FC in a friendly match. After the game, the players spent the afternoon exploring London and taking in some of the city’s well-known sights.
Thursday began with another training session before the players had some free time in the afternoon to relax and recharge. On Friday, the football programme continued with a friendly fixture against London City Lionesses. After another competitive match, the players had the rest of the afternoon to unwind.
Saturday was the final full day of the tour and gave the team more time to discover London. In the afternoon, the group attended a professional match between West Ham United FC and Charlton Athletic FC. Watching the game provided the players with another opportunity to experience football at a professional level and learn from what they saw on the pitch. The day ended with the team’s final dinner at the hotel.
Early on Sunday morning, it was time to leave for the airport and begin the journey home, bringing the London Tour to an end.
The week in London offered US Club Soccer ID2 Girls U15 a valuable combination of training, competitive matches and cultural experiences. Playing against clubs such as Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and London City Lionesses gave the players the opportunity to challenge themselves against different opposition, while the stadium tour and professional match added another perspective to their football experience.
With a busy programme both on and off the pitch, the London Tour provided the players with new experiences, valuable lessons and plenty of memories to take home.
