In February 2025, the Czech Republic U16 national team travelled to Salou, Spain, where they faced strong competition teams and made unforgettable memories. On February 16^th, the team arrived at the hotel. After a long journey, they immediately went to the field for their first training session. Afterwards, they had dinner together and went to bed early to rest well for the upcoming days.

The next day began with breakfast, a video meeting, and a bus ride to their second training session. In the afternoon, the players had some free time, followed by another meeting after dinner.

On February 18^th, they faced the UAE in their first match. The morning was the same as the day before, with a video meeting and training. The match was exciting, as both teams were evenly matched. In the 63^rd minute, the Czech Republic managed to score. They defended well and held on to the lead until the end. They won 1-0 and took home the three points.

On February 19^th, there was only a training session and a few meetings planned, so the players could recover. On February 20^th, they played their second match against Wales. After a short walk after breakfast, the team left to the match venue.

The match started at 12:00, but after ten minutes the Czech Republic were already 2-0 behind. Still, they did not give up and in the 26^th minute they scored the first goal. The second half was exciting, with chances for both teams. In extra time, the Czech Republic equalized, which meant that penalties were needed. Wales won the penalty shootout and took the points home.

The next day, the team went to Barcelona to explore the city and do something different than football. After that, the focus was back on training and preparing for the final match.

On Sunday, February 23^rd, the last match of the program took place, but before that there was one last training session. The match against Sweden started at 18:00. Czech Republic opened the score after 10 minutes. They controlled the game and put Sweden under pressure. Sweden fought back and scored 2 goals in just 2 minutes. Czech Republic kept trying hard but could not score another goal against Sweden.

Even though not all games were won, the team was proud of what they showed. They worked hard, learned a lot and had great moments.

After the last game, the players enjoyed a nice dinner and looked back on a great week. The next day they flew back to Prague, with new experiences and memories they will never forget.
