Traveling from Denmark to The Netherlands with the idea of winning the trophy of the Roosendaal Orange Veins Cup. On Wednesday 3th of August 2022 that was the main goal of Brondby IF, on Sunday 7th of August it became reality. After a short mini training camp with training sessions and meetings on Saturday 6th of August the first tournament day has started. With group games vs AS Monaco, Royal Antwerp and Go Ahead Eagles the first day ended with a group win.
The second day of the tournament started with a semi-final game against Helsingor. With a final score of 5-5, penalties decided the victory of Brondby IF.
AS Monaco won the other semi-final against AIK Stockholm and so both teams played one more time against each other. With a tremendous win of 4 against 1 Brondy IF became the winner of the first edition of the Roosendaal Orange Veins Cup.
