The U13 up to and including U16 teams arrived on Monday 16 February at Manchester Airport, after which they transferred to their hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton. After checking in, the players had some free time during the day. In the evening, they travelled to Sheffield city centre for dinner.

On Tuesday 17 February, the day started early with breakfast at the hotel. The U13/U14 team travelled to Moor Farm Training Centre for a friendly match against Derby County U13. The U15/U16 team travelled to Thorp Arch for a friendly match against Leeds United U15. In both matches, the players showed courage and discipline, gaining valuable minutes on the pitch. After the matches, both teams returned to the hotel and had some free time.

On Wednesday 18 February, the final day for this group, the morning again started early. The U13/U14 team travelled to Thorp Arch for a friendly match against Leeds United U13. The U15/U16 team travelled to DRFC Academy for a friendly match against Doncaster Rovers U15. After the matches, the boys travelled back to Manchester Airport for their flight to Amsterdam.

The U9 up to and including U12 teams arrived on Friday 20 February at Manchester Airport, after which they transferred to their hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn. After checking in, they had some free time and later had dinner outside the hotel.

The next morning started with an early breakfast due to the scheduled friendly matches. After breakfast, the boys travelled to Compton Park Training Ground for a friendly match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The U9/U10 team of Schoonhoven Sports played against Wolverhampton Wanderers U9. The two U11/U12 teams both played against Wolverhampton Wanderers U11. After the matches, the boys travelled to Old Trafford for a stadium tour at Manchester United. This was a great experience for the boys. Afterwards, they returned to the hotel and had dinner outside the hotel.

On Sunday, the final day, they again had an early breakfast because of the morning matches. The U9/U10 team travelled to Finch Farm for a triangular tournament against Everton U9 and Leeds United U9. One of the two U11/U12 teams also travelled to Finch Farm for a triangular tournament against Everton U11 and Leeds United U12. The other U11/U12 team travelled to Moor Farm for a friendly match against Derby County U11. In all matches, the players showed courage and discipline, gaining valuable minutes on the pitch. After the matches, the boys travelled back to Manchester Airport for their flight to Amsterdam.

The players of Schoonhoven Sports created unforgettable memories and returned home with valuable experiences and new insights. They will take these experiences back to the training pitch as they continue to develop and become better football players.
