Canada U20 MNT Tour Costa Rica

On the 9^th of April 2022 the Tour of Canada U20 MNT started, organized by Orange Veins. As this is a national team, all players and staff came from different countries, as they play for different clubs during the season. The team stayed in Hilton Garden Hotel in Santa Ana, Costa Rica.

Orange Veins provided transport from the hotel to the Federación Costarricense de Fútbol training complex and back. At this training complex, Canada played two friendlies against Costa Rica U20. During the week the team trained several times to prepare for these friendlies. The first game ended in a 3-0 victory for Canada U20 and the second game ended in a 1-0 victory for Costa Rica U20.

A tour like this is a great experience for young players to develop themselves on and of the pitch. Friendly games against other national youth teams are a good tool to measure the level with peers from other countries and to prepare your team for big tournaments.
