Tour Overview

The U16’s of the China National team traveled to The Netherlands in April 2025 for a two friendly matches. This trip was organized by Orange Veins.

On the 22nd of April 2025, the u16’s of the China National team arrived at Schiphol Airport for a triangular against Wales U16 and the Netherlands U16. Upon arrival, they traveled to Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Doorwerth-Arnhem, where the players enjoyed dinner before heading to bed early, well-prepared for the days ahead.

On Wednesday morning, the players had time to rest. After lunch, the team walked to the training venue for a  training session. The excellent facilities provided the perfect environment to focus on football, team development, and recovery. After training, the players walked back to the hotel, where dinner was waiting for them.

On Thursday, the 24th of April, the first match was scheduled, against Wales U16. The day started with breakfast and a training session. In the afternoon, the team departed for Quick ’20 in Oldenzaal. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, after which Wales unfortunately claimed the win in a penalty shootout. Nevertheless, China gave it their all and learned a lot from the experience.

The next day the team trained again in the morning to prepare for the match against the Netherlands U16 later that day. The Dutch team started strong and quickly took the lead. Despite China’s hard work, the Netherlands secured a 3-0 victory. It was an educational match for the Chinese team, offering valuable opportunities for growth and learning at the international level.

On Saturday, April 26th, the training camp concluded. After breakfast, the group headed back to Schiphol Airport for their departure to Beijing. The players and staff returned home with valuable insights and international experience.
