In August 2025, the U19’s of Eastside FC travelled to the Netherlands and Belgium to participate in multiple friendly matches and the Heemskerkcup. The team arrived at Brussels Zaventem Airport on the 13th of August, after which they transferred to their hotel, Hotel Fletcher Trivium. Following check-in, the players headed straight into training and ended the day with a well-deserved meal.

The following day started with a relaxed morning. In the afternoon, the team played a friendly match against Sparta Rotterdam. In this first game of the trip, the players showed courage and discipline, gaining valuable minutes on the pitch. After the match the team travelled to Breda to explore the city.

On Friday morning, the team travelled to Amsterdam for a stadium tour at Ajax Amsterdam. There, they had the chance to go behind the scenes and hear insightful stories about the club. After the tour the team had time to relax and prepare for the tournament.

The tournament kicked off on Saturday, August 16th in Heemskerk. A solid group stage performance against Swansea City, DTA Academy and hsv ODIN59 saw them finish second and move forward in the tournament. After playing matches against football clubs like PAOK FC and Halmstads BK, the boys earned 4th place in this tournament. After completing the tournament, the team travelled to Breda to watch a pro match between NAC Breda vs. Fortuna Sittard.

On Monday, the team had a training day. The next day the team had a friendly match against Excelsior Rotterdam. Following the match, the team enjoyed some downtime to recharge before their final game. The next day they travelled to Gent to play their final match against KV Kortrijk.

The journey came to a close on the 21st of April, as the team headed back to Brussels Zaventem Airport for their flight home. The U19 players of Eastside FC returned home with valuable experiences, new insights, and lasting memories.
