The Netherlands Tour
Tour Overview
The 31st of July 2022 was the start of an amazing tour for Harrogate Town AFC in the Netherlands, organized by Orange Veins. The team stayed at the Fletcher Hotel Winterswijk, a hotel situated close to the training complex.
The tour was packed with many activities. Training sessions, reflective work sessions, friendly games, language sessions and free time.
They played many matches against VFL Bochum, ADO Den Haag, Excelsior Rotterdam and PEC Zwolle. These matches were a challenging start of the season for the lads. 2 weeks of development and fun have prepared the players for the upcoming competition in England.

A tour like this is a great experience for young players to develop themselves on and of the pitch. Friendly games against other youth teams are a good tool to measure the level with peers from other countries and to prepare your team for the upcoming competition.
