The team arrived at London Heathrow Airport on Saturday 4 April before making their way to Manchester, where they stayed at the Village Hotel Manchester Hyde. Following their arrival and check-in, the players had time to settle in and prepare for an exciting week ahead.

On Sunday, the group enjoyed some free time before visiting the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City. During the stadium tour, the players gained a behind-the-scenes insight into one of the world’s leading football clubs, creating memories that would stay with them long after the trip.

The football programme began on Monday with a fixture against Derby County at Moor Farm Training Centre. Total Soccer Cayman competed against Derby County U10 in a challenging match that provided valuable learning opportunities for the players. Later that day, the group visited Old Trafford, where they explored the Manchester United Museum and enjoyed a stadium tour.

Tuesday featured a busy schedule with two academy fixtures. In the morning, the team travelled to Thorp Arch to face Leeds United U10. After returning to Manchester, the players headed to the City Football Academy for an evening fixture against Manchester City U9. Competing against two top academies in a single day was a fantastic experience and a true test of the team’s abilities.

On Wednesday, the players had the opportunity to recover before travelling to Sheffield United Academy in the afternoon. There, they faced Sheffield United U10 in another competitive match that allowed the team to continue developing both individually and collectively.

The final match in the Manchester area took place on Thursday at Clayton Wood, where Total Soccer Cayman played against Stoke City U10. Following the fixture, the group travelled to London and checked into the Moxy Heathrow Airport Hotel ahead of the final day of football.

On Friday evening, the tour concluded with a match against Tottenham Hotspur U10 at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy. Facing another Premier League academy provided a fitting end to a week filled with high-level opposition, learning experiences and unforgettable moments.

After an early departure on Saturday morning, the group travelled to Heathrow Airport for their flight home. Throughout the tour, the players demonstrated great commitment, enthusiasm and sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.

The UK Tour provided Total Soccer Cayman with a unique opportunity to compete against top academy opposition, visit iconic football venues and create lifelong memories. The experiences gained throughout the week will undoubtedly contribute to the players’ development as they continue their football journeys.
