In April 2025, the U15’s of True North Soccer Aspire travelled to the Netherlands to participate in the Rotterdam Orange Veins Cup. The team departed from Montreal and arrived at Schiphol Airport on the 17th of April, after which they transferred to their hotel, Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark. After checking in and having dinner, the team began preparing for an intense and educational week.

The following day started with a relaxed morning. In the afternoon, the team played a friendly match against Excelsior Rotterdam. In this first game of the trip, the players showed courage and discipline, gaining valuable minutes on the pitch.

On Saturday morning, the team played against Feyenoord Rotterdam, one of the top youth academies in the Netherlands. This match helped the players adapt to the level of play expected during the tournament. After the game, the team had time to relax and prepare for the tournament.

The tournament kicked off on Sunday, April 20th. The players walked together to the venue, full of excitement and focus. It was a day filled with challenging matches against strong European opponents. Although the results did not always go True North Soccer Aspire’s way, the boys never gave up.

On Monday, the final day of the tournament, the team continued to give it their all to represent their club with pride. Even though they did not finish high in the standings, they could look back on a great performance.

The journey came to a close on the 22nd of April, as the team headed back to Schiphol Airport for their flight home. The U15 players of True North Soccer Aspire returned home with valuable experiences, new insights, and lasting memories.
