Wycombe Wanderers FC
Belgium Tour
Tour Overview
In April 2026, Wycombe Wanderers FC U18 travelled to Belgium for a short but valuable football tour, combining high-quality training with international competition. Organised by Orange Veins, the tour provided the players with the opportunity to prepare, compete against strong opposition and experience football in a different environment.

The team arrived at Brussels Midi Station on Tuesday 7 April before travelling to Maldegem, where they checked into the Cleythil Hotel. Following lunch and check-in, the players headed to FC Kleit for a training session. The session provided an excellent opportunity to prepare for the upcoming fixture while adapting to their new surroundings.
Wednesday began with a relaxed morning and a pre-match briefing as the squad focused on the challenge ahead. After lunch, the team travelled to Sportcomplex De Gulden Kamer in Bruges for their match against Cercle Brugge. Facing a respected Belgian academy side offered a valuable test for the players and an opportunity to compete against international opposition in a professional environment.
Following the fixture, the group returned to the hotel where they had time to recover and reflect on the experience. Throughout their stay, the players demonstrated excellent professionalism, commitment and team spirit both on and off the pitch.
On Thursday morning, the squad departed Belgium and travelled back to Brussels before boarding the Eurostar service to London, bringing the tour to a close.
The Belgium Tour provided Wycombe Wanderers FC U18 with an excellent opportunity to train, compete internationally and continue their development as a team. The experience of facing quality opposition abroad and spending time together in a new environment made the trip both enjoyable and beneficial for everyone involved.
