Newcastle United U15 Crowned Champions at Rotterdam Orange Veins Cup 2026

The 2026 edition of the Rotterdam Orange Veins Cup U15 delivered another spectacular showcase of elite youth football, with top academies from across Europe competing over two days at the facilities of Excelsior Rotterdam.

In a highly competitive tournament featuring clubs such as Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Feyenoord, West Ham United, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and VfL Wolfsburg, it was Newcastle United who ultimately lifted the trophy. 

Newcastle United U15 impressed throughout the tournament, finishing top of their group after recording two wins and two draws. In the semi-finals, the English side came from behind to defeat Borussia Mönchengladbach 3–1, thanks to goals from Charlie Robinson and Jack Dawson. 

The final against Paris Saint-Germain proved to be a thrilling encounter. Newcastle took the lead through Muawiya Ghanem before PSG equalized to force a penalty shootout. Newcastle held their nerve from the spot to secure the championship victory and celebrate a memorable international tournament triumph in Rotterdam. 

One of the stars of the competition was Newcastle talent Charlie Robinson, who was named Player of the Tournament after a series of standout performances during the weekend. 

The Orange Veins Cup continues to grow in reputation as one of Europe’s premier U15 tournaments, regularly attracting elite academies from England, France, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, and the Netherlands. The 2026 edition once again highlighted the incredible level of emerging talent in international youth football.
