The Major League Soccer is a unique football division, since teams from two different countries compete for the cup. Although the majority of teams in the MLS is from America, there are some Canadians teams as well.
Toronto FC was the first Canadian club to join the MLS in 2007. They compete in the Eastern Conference, as the MLS is divided into different regions. Toronto FC’s biggest rival in the Eastern Conference is Montreal Impact, from the nearby city of Montreal.
The most well-known players to have been on the pitch for Toronto FC are Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore.
We all know that playing against different football styles and cultures is the best way to develop your players. So why not take your players to Toronto, to give them a taste of Canadian football? We can arrange friendly matches, guest coaching sessions and pitch hire for your team. Perhaps your players will even pick up some French while they’re there!
Toronto is also the place to be if you’re looking to expand your knowledge of other sports besides football. The Air Canada Centre hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs (ice hockey), Toronto Rock (lacrosse) and Toronto Raptors (basketball).
Why not reward your team’s hard work with a visit to a professional match? Furthermore, your players will be able to visit the impressive Niagara Falls, just an hour outside of Toronto.
Whether you book a football tour, training camp, pre-season trip or a tournament trip: all our tours are tailor-made, to suit the needs of you and your youth players.
