For Nino, football has always been more than just a sport. From developing as a young player at NAC Breda to playing for VV Baronie today, the game has been a constant part of his life. Now, he is taking the next step by joining Orange Veins as an intern, combining his passion for football with his studies in sports marketing.
Nino is currently in his third year of SPECO Sportmarketing and has already completed the minor Value Creation in Top-Level Sport. His studies have given him a broader understanding of the sports industry, while his own experience in football has kept him closely connected to the game. An internship at Orange Veins gives him the opportunity to bring these two interests together and discover what it is like to work within the international football and events industry.
During his internship, Nino is keen to learn as much as possible. He enjoys being involved, helping out wherever needed and getting a better understanding of everything that happens behind the scenes. With plenty of enthusiasm and a genuine curiosity about the industry, he is looking forward to gaining practical experience and developing his skills along the way.
Football remains a big part of his life outside the office as well. Nino currently plays for VV Baronie, having previously spent time in the youth academy of NAC Breda. His connection with the game therefore goes beyond simply following football – he has experienced it both as a player and now from a professional perspective.
Away from the pitch, Nino enjoys making the most of his time with friends and family. Living in Breda, he is never far from a social occasion, whether that means heading to a festival, enjoying a drink on a terrace or watching a match from the stands. For him, football, friends and good experiences go hand in hand – something that makes his move into the sports industry a natural next step.
